His background spans professional coaching in wakeboarding, waterskiing, and wakesurfing, along with hands-on experience in boat building, sales, detailing, and retail. Beyond the water, he has played key roles in events, staff training, and providing business guidance to both startups and established operations.

Through TrickSwitch, he has brought all of this experience together to create a proven coaching program, delivering high-quality, impactful sessions with every student he works with.

Kennedy Armstrong
Driver, Coach and Social Media Manager
I’ve been wakeboarding since the age of 12 and have never left the sport, building three years of coaching experience and heading into my fourth season with a focus on bringing energy, progression, and excitement to every session. In my third year, I had the opportunity to learn from Sim, gaining valuable tips and techniques that I’m excited to pass on to my students while continuing to develop my own skills. I’m passionate about working with riders of all levels—whether they’re just starting out or looking to take their riding to the next stage—and helping them progress not only on the water but in their confidence off it as well.
I strongly believe that falling in love with what you do is key to performing at your best, and I aim to create an environment where students learn more than just wakeboarding. Confidence, resilience, and enjoyment are at the core of every session. As I work toward a future career in firefighting, I remain committed to sharing my knowledge and passion within the watersports community. Wakeboarding has taught me the importance of getting back up, no matter how many times you fall, and that mindset carries into everyday life. I’m dedicated to helping every student push their limits, build confidence, and have an unforgettable time on the water.
